Thomas Margiotti - Expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution
Thomas Margiotti is an attorney at law and a nationally and internationally recognized alternative dispute resolution neutral. He serves as a mediator and arbitrator for several courts, professional associations, and arbitration organizations, including federal and state courts, real estate associations, and private ADR panels. Thomas Margiotti focuses his work on resolving complex commercial, real estate, employment, and institutional disputes through arbitration and mediation.
Earlier in his career, Thomas Margiotti served as an assistant district attorney in Philadelphia, where he was assigned to the major trials and homicide units. Over more than a decade, he tried more than 100 jury trials and thousands of non-jury trials. Later, he worked as a neutral, handling litigation risk, trial strategy, and evidentiary issues.
In addition to his neutral practice, Mr. Margiotti maintains an active role in legal education. He has served as an adjunct professor at Philadelphia Jefferson University since 2014, teaching business law and forensics. He has also held visiting professorships at Comenius University in Slovakia and Lazarski School of Commerce and Law in Poland, where he taught business law and alternative dispute resolution to international law students.
